About Us
Greg Stephens, President , GE Stephens Compliance Consulting and Training is a recognized subject matter expert in appraisal regulations, education and standards. His career spans more than 40 years in the appraisal industry including owning and managing a regional appraisal firm in Northern California, ten years in financial institution valuation QC and compliance monitoring and over 25 years as a USPAP instructor.
Mr. Stephens professional credentials include – Certified General Appraiser, SRA, AI-RRS designations from the Appraisal Institute, AQB Certified USPAP instructor through The Appraisal Foundation Appraiser Qualifications Board, and CDEI Certified Distance Education Instructor through the International Distance Education Certification Center.
For more than twenty years he has been providing qualifying (QE) and continuing education (CE) courses and seminars around the country through his seminar company Appraisal Seminars, the Appraisal Institute, colleges in California and Texas, staff appraisers, independent fee appraisers, support staff and underwriters.
